Athena’s Workshop is a texting application for educators. Therefore, acceptable uses include notifications about school activities, paperwork due, meetings, changes in schedules, follow up on conversations and clarifications about the above examples. It is not considered an acceptable use to utilize the translation feature for high stakes conversations such as disciplinary hearings, school suspensions, etc. It is not considered an acceptable use to utilize Athena’s Workshop for illegal activities. If we discover illegal activities or suspect illegal activities are being discussed using the texting platform, Athena’s Workshop will inform the proper authorities as soon as possible.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, and not withstanding any other provision of the Terms and Conditions, the total liability, in the aggregate, Athena’s Workshop, Inc.’s officers, directors, partners, employees and sub-contractors, and any of them, to the Client and anyone claiming by or through the Client, for any and all claims, losses, costs or damages, including attorneys’ fees and costs and expert-witness fees and costs of any nature whatsoever or claims expenses resulting from or in any way related to the texting platform from any cause or causes shall not exceed the total compensation received by Athena’s Workshop, Inc, or the total amount of $1,000.00 whichever is greater. It is intended that this limitation apply to any and all liability or cause of action however alleged or arising, unless otherwise prohibited by law.
The Site and its original content, features and functionality are owned by Athena’s Workshop, Inc. and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
We may terminate your access to the Site, without cause or notice, which may result in the forfeiture and destruction of all information associated with you. All provisions of this Agreement that by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
Our Site may contain links to third-party sites that are not owned or controlled by Athena’s Workshop, Inc..
This Agreement (and any further rules, polices, or guidelines incorporated by reference) shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Delaware, United States, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.
Changes To This Agreement
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms and Conditions by posting the updated terms on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.
Please review this Agreement periodically for changes. If you do not agree to any of this Agreement or any changes to this Agreement, do not use, access or continue to access the Site or discontinue any use of the Site immediately.
